The goal of the course is to give students self-confidence; speed and accuracy in working with the QuickBooks software to analyze, process and report accounting information. Those who successfully complete the course will expand their boundaries in accounting. They will possess the fundamental skills needed to manage an accounting system that uses the QuickBooks software. With the new skills students will develop, those who are capable may also consider starting their own bookkeeping practice with the program. QuickBooks should be the focal point of your system for small or medium size business customers. Even if your company does not use QuickBooks, or you are currently unemployed, it is still a great program to become familiar with. As an accountant, you will always have a need for it.
Before enrolling in the course students should have already had at least an introductory course in accounting. Although it is not necessary to have the software to enroll in the course and go through the lessons, students will need a copy to complete the final exam. If you do have the program to go through the course you will find it to be an added benefit. Students will take a total of 5 quizzes and a final exam. In order to successfully pass the course a minimum overall grade of 70% is required. The quizzes are in the form of multiple choice, true/false, fill in the blanks and essay type questions. In addition, students will complete 6 assignments and participate in class discussions. The assignments will count towards your overall class participation.Upon successful completion of the course, you will have the option of buying the following certificates and letters: - Attendance - Class participation - Appreciation - Merit - Outstanding achievement - Academic excellence - Letter of reference.
Earn a certificate upon successful completion (additional shipping/handling charges apply for hard copy delivery). UniversalClass™ offers many wonderful learning tools to help you get the most out of your online course, including an online portfolio service that manages all your course completions, and a Certificate Verification Service you can use so others may view and verify the authenticity of your awards.
